Year End Greetings from Dr. Backus

Fri, 2nd December, 2011 - Posted by

Looking back over this past year of service as International Field Director, I thank the Lord for the missionaries I have the privilege to serve, the churches that support the work of PMU, and those individuals who partner with our missionaries to spread the gospel of Christ around the world. We are a small denomination and mission board; however, God has granted us opportunities to serve Him in many countries, added souls to the Church, and enabled churches to be planted and strengthened. I also am thankful for God’s raising up more workers for the field, particularly our new candidate, Elder Doug Leaman.  I consider it a great joy to see men and women of God proclaiming Christ so faithfully and selflessly.

As I look ahead, I see new opportunities of increased faith.  Our missions budget for 2012 is in great need for more supporters.  I pray that God will provide for each of our missionaries and bless those who share in their ministries.  May God grant you a blessed Christmas and New Year as you seek to serve and adore our great King. — Dr. Kevin Backus, PMU International Field Director
