Ministries, Prayer Requests, and Praises from Bolivia

August 25th was the celebration of the second anniversary of the Ladies’ Bible study at the La Paz BPC Church. Twenty-one ladies attended the special program. Pastor Quisbert spoke about a virtuous woman
based on Proverbs 31, where God gives guidelines for how a woman lives. Please pray that the Lord blesses this work.

The church is also reaching out to people who are living on the streets, addicted to alcohol and drugs, by taking a plate of food and the gospel to those who are lost. Pastor Quisbert presents Bible lessons and encourages the memorizing of Scriptures and songs. He writes, “Many of these people are touched by the Word of God and come to repentance. Some of them lift their hands requesting [mercy ]of our Lord. It is [impressive] to see what happens when we preach to these people. Please pray for this work.”

The Awana ministry continues to be a great blessing. 48 children attended the special spring program. Pastor Quisbert thanks the Lord that the children are memorizing the Word of God and learning to sing praises to our God.

Pastors around Bolivia are meeting to pray for the political situation there. We need to uphold our brethren in prayer during this tense political time. More regular supporters are needed for this work in Bolivia. If you are interested in pledging a monthly support or can offer a one time gift, it will be greatly appreciated
and used for this ministry. Please send donations to PMU, marked Quisbert.
