“Our vision is to preach the Gospel and plant churches. Bolivia needs the ‘Good News.’ ” — Rev. David Quisbert

Pastor David Quisbert has been pastoring the BPC in La Paz, Bolivia, a church started by his father, since 1993. His burden for Bolivia is clear when looking at his vision for the next ten years, by God’s grace.

To preach the gospel to people on the streets, markets, and prisons using tract distribution (We have distributed 5500 gospel tracts in 2008.)

  • To continue preaching the gospel through the media, internet, web-site, e-mail, and radio programs
  • To build a strong congregation in La Paz, Bolivia
  • To build a church in “El Alto” city (We have begun a Bible study group. Please pray for this group.)
  • To train leaders in church planting efforts. (We hope to plant churches among the Aymara Indian people. Three million Aymarans need the gospel in the Andes area.)
  • In the Lord’s will, we hope to establish a Bible Presbyterian Seminary in La Paz City, and a BPC Presbytery in Bolivia.

In addition to his degrees in humanities and journalism, Pastor Quisbert holds a degree in Theology from BP Fundamental Seminary in Chile. He is a member of the Great Lakes Presbytery in the USA and began as a PMU missionary in January, 2008. Pastor Quisbert’s wife, Carmen Gloria, is a true help-meet to her husband, laboring with him in this ministry.
