Rev. Khawl Ro Kima is a PMU missionary working in Myanmar. His Reformed faith and his burning desire to reach the unreached led him to get in contact with Dr. Len Pine, the Field Director of PMU. After two years of credential inquiries and exams, Kima was ordained as a PMU missionary on September 4, 2005.
Kima had the privilege of serving the Lord as a lecturer at different Bible seminaries for eight years and also as a pastor at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Yangon for three years.
Kima has completed his M. Div. degree at New Life College in India and his Th. M. at the Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission in Korea.
Kima’s wife, Mawite, serves faithfully alongside him in the ministry. Having attended Bible College, she is a blessing in her work with women and children. God has blessed the Kimas with two children by birth, Andrew and Jenny. After Mawite’s parents died, the Kimas also adopted her two half sisters, Pui Tei and Ma Dongi.
Kima is now actively church planting. He has planted one Bible Presbyterian Church in Yangon and is overseeing the planting of three other churches around the country. Kima has established an orphanage. He is also training the workers and leaders to be strongly rooted in the Reformed Faith and has established a national fellowship of Reformed ministers for encouragement and theological advancement in this needy country.
Please pray for the Kimas.
