Ministering in our AWANA Clubs
Our Awana program for children meets weekly on Saturdays from 3 – 5 PM; our kids enjoy meeting new friends, learning Bible lessons and playing games. Our attendance is approximately forty children each week. In our club we have four different sessions. Book time is a time of Bible memory work by ages. During counsel time the kids enjoy the Bible stories together as a large group. We prepare questions and prizes for them. Next, we have the game time. Finally, we serve snacks. Our kids enjoy all these activities. As missionaries we are developing them spiritually, intellectually, and physically. Please keep us in prayer that the Lord will provide helpers and all our needs. Every year we need to buy supplies for our children (memory books, vests, t-shirts, and award fees).
Spanish Christian Radio Program
Understanding the need for Spanish speaking people to hear about Jesus, in June we started our Radio programming, “Pastoral Reflections,” once a week, Fridays at 9 – 11 PM (EDT time) through the Reformed Bible Broadcasting and the local Radio Station 105.7 FM. The streaming signal from the internet is broadcast live for the cities of La Paz and El Alto. If you know any Spanish speaking people, please invite them to join us at www.rbbradio.com.
Praises and Prayer Items
We praise the Lord for our Prophecy Conference, “The End of the Times,” held at our Bible Presbyterian Church. Thirty-one persons attended this conference, and two women accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
We also had a Leadership Training Seminar for the Sunday School at the Redeemer Church of “El Alto” city. Thirty-five persons attended. We are producing manuals and guide books for our BPC Sunday school.
Please pray for the Zola family. Ivan Zola, a student of law at the University Major of St. Andrews in La Paz, went for his regular exam and never came back. His body was found on July 4th. Please pray for the family.
