Dear Pastors and Praying Friends in Christ,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope all of you are doing well and having a blessed summer. We express our gratitude for those who prayed for the new Christians in Bolivia. We have good news. We would like to share the things that the Lord has done.
TRAINING SEMINAR FOR CHURCH LEADERS
We had a good leadership training seminar at our church, June 27-28. In this seminar we clarified the importance of serving as a leader of the church. We studied some parts of the BPC constitution, the principles, values and the respect for the congregation. We gave guidelines for public speaking. Also, we worked on organizing our documents and files of our church online. Now we have files of our church in the cloud. We learned more about the difference between Calvinism and Arminianism and the influence of Arminianism in Bolivia. Also we worked on the Team Timothy ministry schedule and our responsibilities. We finished the event with a dinner. We are thankful for the work of our ladies who helped us cook the food.

TEAM TIMOTHY MINISTRY IN BOLIVIA
When Christians are going to share the good news of the gospel, they should be ready for challenges. It’s good to remember the word of our Master, Jesus Christ, in John 16:33 — “These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
The Team Timothy ministry had some difficulties in traveling to Bolivia. In the mission field also we had to fight some difficulties. But we were in the time of our Lord, and we passed all difficulties. We joined together to spread the gospel to anyone. The team was led by Dr. Leonard Pine, and the team members were: Susan Young, Anna Blizzard, Mike Sudlow, and Eli Pine.
We had seven services at the church, four home Bible studies, and four training seminars (Ladies, Stewardship, Choir, and Firemen). We also held Vacation Bible School, English classes, and a music concert. We distributed approximately 5,600 gospel tracts and 3,000 flyers with the address of the local church on them. We had a radio broadcasting program on the 105.7 FM radio station. Sixty-five children were able to receive free dental care from two of the dentists in the church. We gave Bibles and Christian literature to unsaved people. We had children and adults who received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We praise the Lord for all His blessings to us, and thank you for your prayers.
PASTOR QUISBERT AT SYNOD
I thank the Lord for the great blessing that I am having to travel coast to coast in America. I am enjoying God’s marvelous creation and the wonderful people of God. At Synod I met and fellowshipped with wonderful pastors and elders. I had the opportunity to present a report of Bolivia. I really appreciated the words of encouragement; they made me happy. Then I began to travel to different churches in America. I send many greetings to my friends in Christ in Olympia, WA; Tacoma, WA; Columbia, OR; Kalispell, MT; Bonners Ferry, ID; Cincinnati, OH; Grand Island, NY; Cape Canaveral, FL; Lakeland, FL; and Palm Harbor, FL, as well as to all those I was unable to visit. May God bless all of you for helping us in missions.
