Quarterly Prayer Letter from the Kimas

Posted on Jun 19, 2015

Dear Honored Sponsors and Prayer Partners,

It is so hard to believe that we are halfway through 2015. Time is passing so fast. The Lord has blessed us abundantly in every direction. God is really so good to His people. We thank you for your unceasing prayers and financial support. We know that we harvest the fruits of your prayers.

The Yangon BP Church keeps growing. We have new visitors at the worship service almost every Sunday. This is surely the fruit of your prayer.

“We know that we harvest the fruits of your prayers.”

During the last quarter, I conducted one salvation camp and two crusades. From these, twelve people received Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord. I also visited the two mission stations (Namhu and Aung Tha Pyi), having fellowship with them and encouraging them to stand firm and grow in the Lord. My wife, Mawite, also visited the Thinglei mission station and enjoyed fellowship with our brothers and sisters over there. One prayer request I would like to share with you is this: Please pray that the rain may come in season. Due to the global climate change, many farmers in those areas are facing a difficult situation. They can neither plow nor sow the seeds at the usual time.

The Yangon BP Church hosted the BP women’s combined fellowship meetings from April 10 to 13. It was the third fellowship meeting. The women from the mission stations came together for fellowship and training. I gave training based on the book of Ruth. During this fellowship the BP women from different mission stations got to know and strengthen each other in the faith. Please pray for the next women’s combined fellowship meeting to be held in April, 2016.

Friends, we deeply appreciate your prayers. It is always encouraging for us to know that God’s elect are praying for us. Together with you we declare His glory among the nations.

Sincerely in His royal service,

Yangon, Myanmar
