December is here once again, and time to reflect on what God has done here in Cambodia. This year found us again rejoicing in blessings as well as facing trials and tribulations. We thank God for Mr. Srong’s partnership with us in the work as he labors among more villages than we are personally able to attend each week, as well as his completion of the “Pastoral Education Program” this year. We thank the Lord for the safe arrival of Anna, our second child, as well her baptism and the provision of a new place to live. Sharon Blizzard’s ministry here was a great blessing to our family, as well as to the ministry. Trials have also been a part of this year: we lost our opportunity to work in two villages for a time, have seen persecution of those attending our ministries, and experienced challenges with our vehicle.
As we look ahead, we are confident that God is working through each of these events — both to encourage us and to challenge us. Please continue to pray for us as we face the challenges and blessings of 2016. In particular, please pray for our children to know God, for the final approval on our church registration paperwork for Kpbaom, for the continued preaching and teaching of the Word of God in the villages, and for me [Pastor Baldwin] as I teach in a local seminary, training the next generation of men in leadership. Also, please remember our health in this humid, foreign climate. We appreciate each prayer for us in this work. May God richly bless you as you also serve Him in your part of the world.
