Myanmar Prayer Letter (February 2020)
Posted on Feb 26, 2020
First of all, I want say thank you so much for your earnest prayer for me and for the mission works in Myanmar. We have seen the fruit of your prayers in different areas of our lives.
The orphanage ministry is going well. The children enjoy staying at the orphanage home and are growing. The Yangon BP church is also going well and keeps growing both in number and in quality.
As you pray for us please remember these:
Pray for me, that the Lord will give me the wisdom and strength I need for the ministry. Sometimes I feel weak and exhausted. Thank God that He always sustains me and strengthens me. Pray also for Mawite, who has been suffering from a blood pressure problem.
Please pray for the BP fellowship meeting to be held in March. We have been doing the fellowship meeting every year since 2015 because we see how this fellowship unites and empowers the church members for the ministry. Pray that God will provide all that is needed so that we can successfully host this event again. This year the fellowship will be held at Thinglei BP Mission.
Please continue to pray for the Thinglei BP Mission in Chin State. Pray that God will meet this need. The church really needs a good preacher and capable leader.
Finally, pray for the youth mission team. We have 10 young men and women who have committed to serve the Lord as short-term missionaries. They are planning to go to Chin state and will spent most of their time at Thinglei BP Mission. It will take two months and my wife, Mawite, will be leading them. Please pray that God may use them wonderfully.
