June Banner Article: Uruguay Bound by Miss Michaela Sharpshair

Posted on Jun 11, 2018

I am currently 54% funded for my year long mission trip to Uruguay. Jehovah Jireh!! In a short five months I will be on my way. I had the privilege of Skyping one of the couples that I will be joining this coming October, the Jeromin’s. They are in charge of finding and securing housing for me during my stay, so please be praying for them as they make that decision. They were able to shine some light on what life in Uruguay will look like. It will require a lot of walking, patience, and a lot of flexibility, some things I am already working on. The more I learn about Uruguay the more excited I get. It is clear to me that God has picked Uruguay for a special and specific reason. It just seems like a perfect fit. I am so ready to experience all the Lord has in store! I am currently planning ways to increase support and working on language study. The Jeromin’s have been especially helpful in finding resources for me to learn the language quicker. I covet your prayers during these next few months leading up to my departure. In order to get everything done in time it will take great discernment and diligence. Also please be praying for my family as we ready our hearts to be away from each other for such a long time. I thank you for your prayers and support in this exciting adventure to further His Kingdom! Muchas Gracias!
